Our Patented Curved Flow Design

Beechy’s patented mine design features a curved flow cavern architecture that mimics the natural dynamics of a meandering river. This unique geometry enhances brine circulation and dissolution efficiency, forming the foundation of our selective solution mining strategy.

Long wall extraction approach

We employ a long wall extraction approach, enabling full recovery along the curved sections and horizontal drilling across the entire potash layer. This method is engineered to achieve 80%+ final extraction, far exceeding conventional solution mining efficiency.

Salt (NaCl) Control Process

Our design also incorporates a thin extraction layer, which promotes controlled salt deposition within the cavern. This facilitates uniform closure, stabilizing the mine structure and minimizing environmental impact — all while maintaining low water usage and eliminating surface tailings.

Beechy’s mining process is uniquely engineered to extract potash from horizontal deposits using a proprietary NaCl brine known as Beechy Mother Liquor. Simple Design, Easy Build, Low Capital Cost

Our streamlined setup begins with sophisticated horizontal drilling, where a production well and an injection well are drilled from close proximity at the plant site. Both wells are vertically drilled, curved into the potash bed, and interconnected within the horizontal deposit. This compact configuration minimizes surface infrastructure and capital expenditure while enabling efficient resource access.

Intelligent Energy Optimization

Potash-rich brine from the production well flows through crystallizers, centrifuges, and dryers to extract the final product. The remaining brine is reheated via brine heaters and recirculated back into the cavern through the injection well using mine pumps. Integrated heat exchangers recover and recycle thermal energy throughout the loop, ensuring optimal energy use and reducing utility demands.
